KAUPAPA
.Titirangi Earth Festival was founded in early 2019, created from an initiative and vision to bring the wider community of West Auckland in Tāmaki Makaurau together, inspired by the Mauri of this area and connected back into the ecology of human, land, waters and the essence of the education held within the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner school.
Nestled at the foot of the Waitakere ranges reaching down to the Manukau harbour waters edge.
The festivals events offer an intergenerational environment, to experience, learn, share and rediscover the interconnections we hold within the systemic relationship of this unique living system that we live with and the opportunities in front of us to explore and engage with .
An invitation… A call to Action
To gather with intention, connect with ourselves, one another in what is of true importance and value in this pivotal time that we are living in.
At the very heart of our offerings are opportunities of connection, sharing skills and knowledge, a strengthened sense of place and being through creative and experiential events and workshops covering a myriad of topics connected into holistic wellbeing and the regenerative journey back to wholeness.
We look forward to sharing with you the Titirangi Earth festival experience
This is a voluntary run event with all proceeds generated going back
into the land development of the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School.
Supporting
a larger vision of quality land based education for students and wider community that contributes to the health and wellbeing of the larger living system, the waters, whenua, air, spirit
and people of the Waitakere area.
We are enabling this through food production, garden and native nursery teaching,
biodynamic and
biology first principles, and ecological regeneration.
It is our vision and gift to the current and future generations of the school and community
that we can enable this way of being and learning to become an integral part
of our children’s future.
